We would like to welcome you to attend our biennial New Zealand Society for Surgery of the Hand Meeting.
This will be an inclusive meeting which will be held in Queenstown during the New Zealand and Australian school holiday break ( July 13 - 15th ).
The meeting will be held at Millennium Hotel, a four-star-plus hotel in Queenstown is within minutes of the central shopping and entertainment area and just 20 minutes drive to the nearest skifield. - a great venue for this mid-winter meeting.
This meeting will cover a broad range of Hand Surgical topics under the theme of ' Unsolved Problems in Hand Surgery'. This meeting is designed to meet the interests of our Plastic and Orthopaedic surgical colleagues as well as Hand therapists.
The 'Honorary Rothwell Lecture' will be given as well as the awarding of 'The Bossley Award for Best Paper' to honour these most significant and influential members of this society.
We are fortunate to have Dr David Slutsky from USA and Dr Hari Venkatramani from India as our invited speakers who have vast expertise across the spectrum of Hand Surgery.
This meeting immediately precedes the New Zealand Plastic Surgical meeting which will also be held in Queenstown, this gives us the opportunity to hear from their invited speakers who are the renowned Mr Paul Smith of London and Dr Simon Talbot of Boston. We hope that you may also bring your families to enjoy Queenstown during this winter break for what promises to be a great meeting.
